As a result, we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We urge you to read this Privacy Policy in order to learn more about the ways in which Praized uses and protects your personal information.

The privacy practices of this statement apply to our services available under the domain and sub-domains of www.praized.com, our co-branded web sites as well as any third party web sites in which Praized software and content have been embedded (collectively referred to as the “Praized Properties”). By visiting any of the Praized Properties or registering as a member thereof, you agree to be bound, without limitation or qualification, by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. If, for whatever reason, you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not use or access the Praized Properties.

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes the information that Praized collects from you and what may happen to that information. Praized has prepared this policy in a detailed manner so our users know as much as possible about our company’s practices, which will in turn enable you to make informed decisions.

By registering as a member of the Praized Properties, you are accepting the Privacy Policy and, as a result, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms and conditions of our Terms of Use.

Required Age to Register

Membership in the Praized Properties is void where prohibited. To register as a member of the Praized Properties or to use the Praized Properties, you must be 13 years old or older. Individuals under the age of 18 must have the permission of their parents or legal guardians to use the Praized Properties or to register as a member thereof. If you are under the age of 13, please discontinue using the Praized Properties immediately.

Information Collected by Praized

The primary purpose in collecting personal information from you is to provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient, and customized experience on the Praized Properties. We only collect personal information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this purpose.

In general, you can browse the Praized Properties without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. However, once you give us your personal information, you are not anonymous to us. If you choose to register as a member of the Praized Properties, we will require you to provide some personal information. Our registration form will indicate which fields are required and which fields are optional.

We automatically track certain information about you based upon your behavior on the Praized Properties. We use this information to do internal research on our members’ demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand our community. This information may include, but not be limited to, the URL that you just came from or the URL you next go to, your computer browser information and your IP address.

We use data collection devices such as “cookies” on certain pages of the Praized Properties to help analyze our web page flow, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. “Cookies” are small files placed on your hard drive that assist us in providing our services. We offer certain features that are only available through the use of a “cookie.” We also use “cookies” allow you to enter your password less frequently during a session. Cookies can also help us provide information that is targeted to your interests.

Additionally, you may encounter “cookies” or other similar devices on certain pages of the Praized Properties that are placed by third parties. For example, if you view an ad served from a third party server, there may be a “cookie” placed within that web page. We do not control the use of cookies by third parties.

We collect information about your user behavior. If you choose to vote or post reviews or comments for the benefit of other users, we will collect that information that you provide to us.

If you send us personal correspondence, such as e-mails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Praized Properties, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.

Our Use of Your Information

Praized uses personal information in the file we maintain about you, and other information we obtain from your current and past activities on the Praized Properties to resolve disputes; troubleshoot problems; detect and protect against error, fraud and other criminal activity; enforce our Terms of Use; and as otherwise described to you at the time of collection, use or disclosure. We reserve the right to look across multiple users to identify problems or resolve disputes and, in particular, we may examine your personal information to identify users using multiple user names or aliases. We may compare and review your personal information for errors, omissions and for accuracy.

You agree that we may use personal information about you to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to analyze usage on the Praized Properties, to improve our content and product offerings, and to customize the content, layout, and services which shall include the serving of targeted advertisements. These uses improve the user experience and better tailor it to meet your needs.

You agree that we may also use your personal information to contact you and deliver information to you that, in some cases, are targeted to your interests, such as administrative notices, product offerings, and communications relevant to your use of the Praized Properties. By accepting the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, you expressly agree to receive this information.

Others’ Information

You may choose to provide any of the Praized Properties with another person’s e-mail address so that person may be invited to create an account. We use this information to contact and, if necessary, remind that person about the invitation. All invitees are provided with the option not to receive further invitations.

Our Disclosure of Your Information

As a matter of policy, we do not sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. However, the following describes some of the ways that your personal information may be disclosed in the normal scope of business to provide our services.

Advertisers. Praized aggregates content and profile information and discloses such information in a non-personally identifiable manner to advertisers and other third parties who in turn may display or publish such information in connection with their own web sites, mobile platforms, and other media, whether electronic in nature or otherwise, for their marketing and promotional purposes. However, in these situations, we do not disclose to these entities any information that could be used to identify you personally. Certain information, such as your name, e-mail address, and password are not disclosed to these third parties in a personally identifiable manner without your explicit consent. In addition to the foregoing, Praized may also license information pertaining to its user names, its users’ votes as well as some of its users’ comments or reviews.

Praized Properties. Your user name is displayed throughout the Praized Properties, and is therefore available to the public. All of your activities on the Praized Properties will be identifiable to your user name. Other people can see your comments and postings on any of the Praized Properties and so on. Therefore, if you associate your name or your e-mail address with your user name, the people you have revealed your name to will be able to personally identify your activities on the Praized Properties. If you want to change your user name, you must close your account and register once again to select a new user name.

Unaffiliated Third Party Web Sites. The Praized Properties may contain links to third party web sites to which Praized has no affiliation. Except as set forth herein, Praized does not share information about you and your use of the Praized Properties with those third parties, and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We suggest you read the privacy policies on all such third party websites.

External Service Providers. Depending on the circumstances, some of the third party web sites which are part of the Praized Properties might propose a mechanism to make it easier for their users to manage their profile information on their site as well as on the Praized Properties. In those situations, there may be a transfer of user information from the relevant third party web site to Praized. There may also be situations in which Praized may wish to transfer some user information from your Praized account to the relevant third party web site. Such proposed transfers will always require your consent and, as a result, if you do not express your consent, the proposed transfer of information shall not take place. If you express your consent to a proposed transfer of information between Praized and a specific third party web site, the use of your personal information shall also be governed by the applicable privacy policy of said third party web site.

Internal Service Providers for Our Operations. Praized may use third parties that we refer to as internal service providers to facilitate or outsource one or more aspects of the business, product and service operations that we provide to you and therefore we may provide some of your personal information directly to these internal service providers. These internal service providers are subject to confidentiality agreements with Praized and other legal restrictions that prohibit their use of the personal information Praized provides them for any other purpose except to facilitate the specific outsourced Praized related operation, unless you have explicitly agreed or given your prior permission to them for additional uses. In some instances, the internal service provider may collect information directly from you. In these cases, you will be notified of the involvement of the internal service provider, and all additional information you provide them and their additional uses will be strictly up to you. If you provide additional information to an internal service provider directly, then their use of your information is governed by their applicable privacy policy.

Legal Requests. Praized cooperates with law enforcement inquires, as well as other third parties to enforce laws such as intellectual property rights, fraud and other rights, to help protect you and the Praized Properties from bad actors. Therefore, in response to a verified request by law enforcement or other government officials relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity, we can (as a result of you authorizing us to) disclose your name, e-mail address, user history, and posting history without a subpoena. However, in an effort to balance your right to privacy and the ability to keep the Praized Properties free from bad actors, we will not disclose additional information to law enforcement or other government officials without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when the additional disclosure of information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss.

Due to the existing regulatory environment, we are not in a position to ensure that all of your personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. By way of example (without limiting the foregoing), we may be forced to disclose personal information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, or users may abuse or misuse the personal information that they obtain from other users of the Praized Properties. Therefore, although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise that your personal information will always remain private.

In the Event of a Sale or Merger. Praized reserves the right to transfer information about you and your use of the Praized Properties in the event of a transfer of ownership of Praized, such as an acquisition by or a merger with another company. In such an event, Praized will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Control of Your Password

You are responsible for all actions take with your user name and password. As a result, we do not recommend that you disclose your password to any third parties. If you choose to share your user name and password or your personal information with third parties, you are responsible for all actions taken with your account and therefore you should review that third party’s privacy policy before doing so. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password.

Reviewing and Changing Your Personally Identifiable Information

Following registration, you can review and change the information you submitted during registration, excluding your user name.

Upon your request, we will deactivate your account and contact information from our active databases. To make this request, please send an e-mail to help@praized.com. Such information will be deactivated as soon as reasonably possible based upon your account activity and in accordance with our deactivation policy and applicable law.

We will retain in our files some personal information you have requested to remove to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and comply with legal requirements as is permitted by law. Therefore, you should not expect that all of your personal information will be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests. However, such personal information will be deactivated from public and member viewing and will only be available to designated Praized employees and authorized consultants with a bona fide need to know.

Other Information Collectors

Except as otherwise expressly included in this Privacy Policy, this document only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. To the extent that you disclose your information to other parties on the Praized Properties or other sites throughout the Internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the personal information you disclose to them. Since Praized does not control the privacy policies of third parties, you are subject to the privacy customs and policies of those third parties. We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to others.

Security

Praized uses procedural and technical safeguards to protect your personal information against loss or theft, as well as against unauthorized access or disclosure, to protect your privacy, including firewalls and encryption.
